Green Resources & Bamboo Planet founder Iveth Jalinsky participated in a special meeting with Senator Jerry Moran and members of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City in Washington, D.C., to discuss key issues impacting Hispanic entrepreneurs across the Midwest.
The discussion focused on topics such as post-pandemic business recovery, support for Latino entrepreneurship, access to federal funding, and sustainable innovation in emerging industries. As Senator Moran highlighted in his weekly report, Latino-owned businesses represented 36% of all new business formations in the United States last year, demonstrating their vital role in strengthening the national economy.

Her participation underscored the growing connection between Latino leadership and environmental responsibility, key pillars of both organizations’ missions.
“It’s inspiring to see Latino entrepreneurs driving innovation and sustainability from the heart of America. We’re building not only businesses but a legacy of purpose and positive change,”

This gathering reflected a shared commitment between policymakers and business leaders to support minority-owned enterprises, improve economic resilience, and encourage sustainable development throughout the region.
